Look # 6. Art vs. Fashion

“To create that structure, to do those colours, and do nothing. I suddenly got what I wanted. It was a way of pinning down the joy of color” © Damien Hirst

In this look I decided to combine fashion and art. I simply couldn’t resist to show you an amazing art piece which we received as a wedding present from our friend, gallerist Bennet Vertes.

For all the sporty (and not very) people who love art, internationally renowned artist Damien Hirst has created his own skateboard line for NY based skateboard company Supreme. They released a series of five individually designed skateboard decks featuring his signature color spots. These high-end skateboards are much in demand for its practicality as also for its significance as an exclusive asset. The spot works are amongst Hirst’s most widely recognized works. Damien Hirst’s contribution to the art world is definitely a winner.

And even if you went skateboarding ages ago like me, you can simply use it as an amazing art piece which stands among my fashion and art books..))

Yours Aline
