Did u know that few kilometres away from Zurich-center, in Küsnacht we have a 2 Michelin star restaurant? Me neither till the last year.

Rico’s by Rico Zandonella, this is the restaurant which we were always passing by on the way home. Every time I was noticing how cosy and charming it looks from the outside. So, one day me and my husband decided to discover this intriguing place.

To be honest I’m not a big fan of Michelin star restaurants. For me, some of them are already not about the food and delight, but more about performance and suprise.

Although, I can say Rico’s has it all. From super friendly stuff and hi-tech wine list to unusual realization of well- known dishes to extraordinary mixture of flavors.

My favorite dish was an unusual lobster salad (consisted of cocktail of lentils, cassis hazelnut vinaigrette and anise cream – very unexpcted, but worth a try), Rico’s famous carbonara with fried foie gras and roasted bacon (no comments, just order it immediately) and whiskey wood smoked beef fillet (which has a rich flavour but literally melts in your mouth).

And if you still have some space in your stomach, dont forget about incredible desert menu which for sure will ad a fat plus to your 2 Michelin star dinner.
